The members of the Chicagoland Allanté-XLR Club welcome you to our website!

The Chicagoland Allanté-XLR Club (CAXC) is an open marque club dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the Cadillac Allanté & XLR automobiles among friends. The club was organized in November 1996 with fifteen Allanté owners coming to our very first meeting. Since then, we have grown to more than 170 members.

The club is very active and involved in a multitude of events. Allanté & XLR car shows, tours of local interests and weekend trips are examples of our seasonal activities. Those who enjoy working on their vehicles will find our technical sessions, silent parts auction and advice from our Cadillac certified Allanté & XLR technicians beneficial. We are a not-for-profit organization and all our staff and officers are volunteers.

The club serves the Great Lakes region of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan and its members firmly believe in our motto: It's not just the car, it's the people.

Meetings are held at 9:00 am on the first Saturday of every month at Lambs Farm, 14245 West Rockland Road, Libertyville, Illinois (located at the intersection of I-94 and Route 176). Founded in 1961, Lambs Farm is a premier non-profit organization helping adults with developmental disabilities. We gather at their Country Inn Restaurant and breakfast is available. MapQuest Map

The club's newsletter, Allanté Events, is published bi-monthly and is sent via Internet or U.S. mail to all paid members. It is published for the personal use of the Chicagoland Allanté-XLR Club and its members. Stories from members, reports on past events, Allanté & XLR "tips & tricks", classified ads and featured sponsors are highlights of every issue.

Membership dues are $30.00 per year. You will receive a $5.00 discount if you accept Allanté Events by e-mail. An application/renewal/change of address form can be downloaded from our website and mailed to the address on the form. Browse our events page for a brief listing of recent club activities.
